Ubisoft is investigating options for punishing players who used an in-game glitch to exploit The Division's Falcon Lost incursion.
The exploit involved players glitching through walls, thus skipping most of the incursion and collecting loot over and over again, in an activity that is meant to be playable just once a week.
It was quickly patched, but many players had already mined the exploit for top-level gear, unbalancing the game's player-vs-player Dark Zone to the point where some players claimed it was necessary to use the exploit just to keep pace.
